In addition, the company’s vision is to achieve in being a Gateway to Asian Marine & Offshore, thus wanting to expand their business operations to Cambodia. In turn, it will give them a significant and strategic present in Asia. However, they has no knowledge about the country as mentioned above, and would like to conduct a rigorous research into five areas of Cambodia so that they would better understand the whole picture of how to operate and run its business over in Cambodia.

 

The main five areas that the team was tasked to take on in researching would be namely overseas market assessment, tax complication analysis, labour law and compliance, cross-border tax complications as well as impositions assessment and legality in sales and distribution. Ocean Pac intends to penetrate and establish a business in the Cambodia market while observing the rules and regulations that is needed to be adhered to when setting up a business over there.
