The company buy a wide range of seafood from the fishermen, at a centralized market in Yangon.
GF is going to expand the world market. According to the research, the data shows that the Thailand is the main export locations of Myanmar in year 2013 and the rate is reached to 40.5%. However, the domestic seafood is insufficient to meet the international market.
Therefore, in order to achieve this goal, GF decided to import seafood from other countries which is Indonesia. As GF is considerate that Indonesia is a main resource of importing the seafood and considering purchase directly from seafood processing plants in Indonesia. Now, the group considers this option to address some issues for planning of import and export the seafood.
