HOW THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE FINANCIAL CENTRES BETWEEN TWO CITIES, HONGKONG AND SINGARORE
This study focuses on which would be the next financial center in Asia –Hong
Kong or Singapore. There is much speculation as to who might dominate to
become the leading financial center of Asia. The agenda is achieve an overall
understanding of both cities’ historical background; Current situation, Strengths;
Dilemma, the role of the central government that plays apart, and the
contributing factors towards the development of the financial centers. Through
the network of analysis of roles theoretically, we have examined that the
environment’s stability –political, economical, social, technological, legal
regulations. These factors, especially the legal regulations have a significant
impact on its economic growth. It is conclusive that transparency and fairness in
the cities’ governance highly seek by investors. Furthermore, this paper explain
why the future prospects of Singapore is better than Hong Kong, by its current
situation and the challenges faced in such competition.

HOW DOES THE SUNNING UTILIZE BIG DATA
TO ENHANCE THE PROFIT.
The topic of poster is how does Suning utilize big data to enhance profit? A case
study: Suning. There are six parts in the poster and it will give a detailed illustration
to explain the importance of big data to Suning.
The first part is introduction of big data, Big data is a term that describes the large
volume of data – both structured and unstructured – that inundates a business on a
day-to- day basis. Big data can be analyzed for insights that lead to better decisions
and strategic business moves. After understanding the concept of big data, next is
the background of Suning, Suning is one of the largest commercial enterprises in
China and not only has more than 1,600 chain stores but also has own well-known
online trading platform in China. The third part is SWOT analysis. An enterprise must
has a better understanding of its own business in order to have more space for
improvement. The SWOT will full description about the strength and weakness
Suning had, the opportunity and threat that Suning will face. There are three main
influence that big data brings to Suning. It use three examples which are tens of
millions home appliance of item demand, home appliances going to countryside and
suning cooperation with Xiaomi to respectively explain the influence about market,
target and cooperation of Suning from big data. Of course, big data as a new
technology also brings many problems, the poster provided two major issue about
speed and management. Then it also offer the recommendation to deal with these
issues and help Suning utilizing big data better and get more profit.
In general, suning uses big data to analyze the market needs and potential risks,
and ultimately provide more profit for its customers, stakeholders and suning
company through big datalink.

BIG DATA IS IN THE AIR
To answer the issue : “how Big Data affect firm’s marketing strategy?” we decided to do a case
study on Air France-KLM which is a French company pioneer in the using of Big Data. We are
going to explain the changes in the marketing strategy by analysing data collection and how
marketing strategy has become more data driven. We will present the personalization of
customer relationship, how the group revitalizes its image with big data, and the improvement
on the performance of advertisements and customer loyalty. However, using big data also
means taking challenges due to the immature development. There are some key challenges in
this area:
1. Considerable investments need to be put before using big data in aviation industry.
2. Data safety management.
3. Talents shortage in big data field.
4. Difficulty in maintaining a sustained competitive advantage from big data.
5. Difficulty in finding correlations between related areas.
About financial changes we will discuss how using Big Data has helped their financials in sales
and costs. We can see that thanks to Big Data sales has increased and that their external costs
has decreased. Finally, Big Data will improve results of the company and consequently their
incomes.
Finally, Big data will improve in the future. They will be more accurate. The process collection
big data will be directly gathered from the passenger. There is the project to digitize client
experience at the airport or during transfer to understand its behavior and habits. Then Air
France will develop the Hadoop technique to process amount of data. The company will in the
close future put tabs at premium clients’ disposal to improve their offer and permit it to fit
more the client’s expectation.

BIG DATA: A NEW REVOLUTION IN MARKETING
The first phase of this project involves the definition of big data and its scope and
some information about the topic’s background. The main purpose of this project is to
discover how big data can affect firms’ marketing and advertising strategies. The second
phase will be the main content where there is an explanation about the impact of big data
towards companies, especially focus on marketing and advertising strategies. Here, we also
provide a case study of how Wendy’s company utilized big data and what are the main
outcomes and improvement to the firm. There were evidences supported that the firm had
been able to increase revenue and reduce its operating costs by analyzing and making best
use of the big data base to better position the firm to meet its target customers’ expectations.
Utilizing big data can create both positive and negative impacts to not only Wendy’s but all
kinds of organizations. Example of positive impact is to help firms to increase profit by
efficiently reducing costs or boosting sales and etc. Example of negative impact is that the
whole process of big data from collecting to implementing results normally costs very high
and takes big amount of time. The last phase will be a recommendation of how company can
more effectively make use of big data to develop every single parts of business and create
an effective business transformation. We also provide prediction about the use of big data
for future days, whether there will be more companies successfully make best use of this
tool or there will be other potential tools replace the big data.

Financial market is a broad term describing any marketplace where buyers and sellers participate
in the trade of assets such as equities, bonds, currencies and derivatives. Financial markets are
typically defined by having transparent pricing, basic regulations on trading, costs and fees, and
market forces determining the prices of securities that trade. Particularly, it plays an important
role in the modern development of economy as fostering economic growth by creating strong
incentives for investment and promoting trade and business linkages. In Asia, Hong Kong and
Singapore have known as important international financial centers since Asia market have
developed rapidly these recent years. Specifically, Singapore has developed into the Asia
region’s largest center for foreign exchange and commodity trading, as well as a growing wealth
management hub. On another hand, Hong Kong has strong links with London and New York
City, top 2 financial centers in global market .It is an international financial centre that is
involved in a significant proportion of Asian financial transactions and has maintained a
presence the world's 100 largest banks in the nation. However, each center has different
challenges which influence to the development of finance sector.
The report will determine and analyze three main purposes of the project. First of all, we intend
to identify the key factors which influence the development of financial centers which have been
selected as Hong Kong and Singapore. As the second purpose, we will indicate the growth
opportunities and challenges which will be faced in the future of each center. By that, we will
suggest and provide essential recommendations to solve the important issues. Last but not least,
the most important purpose is to forecast and identify which country will be the next financial
center of Asia based on the data and information figures. This presentation will maintain our core
findings as the history and the current situation, role of central governments, the comparison
analysis of PESTLE (Politics, Economic, Social, Technology, Legal and Environment) and
SWOT(Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) issues of both country as Hong Kong
and Singapore.

AISA'S NEXT MAJOR FINANCIAL CENTRE
HONG KONG VS SINGAPORE
Nowadays, the development of financial centers plays a very crucial role in modern
economy. A well-developed financial center will increase economic activity, create more jobs
and improve country’s tax revenues (Cheung & Yeung, 2007). Strong and rapid growth in the
economy of Asian region has given rise to the development of the financial centers in this
region. Countries in this region are competing to make their way up as the next major
financial center. This is no exception to Hong Kong and Singapore. The competition between
the two has always been fierce since the late 1960s. This project is to predict the next
financial center in Asia between Singapore and Hong Kong. In this project, the development
of the two financial centers will be assessed through five factors which are business
environment, human capital, infrastructures, reputation and general factors, and market
access. Next, we will also address the several opportunities as well as potential threats for
Singapore and Hong Kong as financial centers due to the constant changing fortunes and
developments of Asian economies. We are also going to talk about the history, current
important issues of these financial centers and recommended solutions for those issues. Last
but not least, with all those information in hand, we are going to give prediction on the next
major financial center between Hong Kong and Singapore.
